Environmental / Safety Audits
Audits help identify and correct problems before they are discovered during regulatory inspections. An audit goes beyond the normal assessment which would be conducted during self-monitoring. It checks the extent to which management systems, procedures, and work practices achieve, demonstrate, and ensure continuous compliance. Environmental and safety audits are the two primary audits which cover the vast majority of governmental regulations.
SAFETY AUDIT
The function of a safety audit is to determine whether a facility is in compliance with safety regulations outlined in 29 CFR 1910 as well as other areas. The audit will examine the completeness of written programs, whether they have been properly implemented, if they reflect current facility processes, documentation, and training.
